“This is our 3rd trip to the Hocking Hills area, but our 1st stay here at The Shawnee and
Getaway Cabins®. This is the best place we have stayed at to date. The feeding station alone would bring us
back! We have enjoyed watching all the animals (deer, raccoons, chipmunks, squirrels, and birds) hammer
down on the wildlife feed we purchased at the check-in area. We hiked around the area here yesterday.
Our dog, Hannah, really enjoyed watching the geese on the 2nd pond. The hot tub is huge and the couches
are extremely comfy!! Overall, we had a fantastic quick 3-night vacation and we are already looking at
our calendars to make a return trip! The staff are all incredibly nice and helpful. I recommend all the
guests check out the little store in the check in area and purchase the awesome candles-they smell phenomenal!
