What to Bring |
|
All of your towels and linens, cookware and utensils, dish soap and paper products are provided. Just bring your own food and toiletries. The items our guests most often forget are Coffee and soap for the shower. Don’t forget your hiking boots and a prepaid calling card for phone calls! Our cabins all have well-water or cisterns. Some guests prefer to bring their own drinking water.

Amenities |
|
Occasionally appliances, hot tubs, fireplaces, etc… can malfunction. We will service and restore these amenities as quickly as we can, but will not make any rental concession for time without these items. Likewise, loss of electricity, water, or other “Acts of God” that are outside of our control will not result in a refund of any monies paid. We ask that you follow all guidelines and policies regarding use of amenities in order to keep them functioning at peak efficiency. Due to cleaning and servicing, hot tubs are sometimes not up to full temperature at the time of check in and may need several hours to heat. |

Extended Stays |
|
If you are staying more than two days, your hot tub will be checked on the third day and every other day thereafter. We will also bring you new towels on those days. |
|
Fireplaces |
|
Electric fireplaces are operational all year. They look like little woodstoves, and it just takes a push of the button and you have "flames." The Waterfall Cabin has an actually wood-burning stove. You can purchase wood for this fireplace at our office for $5.00 per bag or bundle. |

Telephones |
|
Although there are not phones in our cabins, there is a telephone on the front porch of our office should you need it. This is available 24-hours a day for local, collect, phone card, or credit card calls. There is also a Community Phone at our Bishop's Ridge Location available to be used in the same way. You are unlikely to have cellular or wireless phone service.

Electrical Outages |
|
Unfortunatley electical outages do happen out here in the country! We do have flashlights in the cabins, but you might want to bring one just in case. |

Bugs |
|
We have our cabins professionally treated on a regular basis, but we have invaded the bugs' natural habitat. You are in the middle of the woods and you WILL see bugs and spiders during your stay! You might want to bring some bug spray if you plan to spend time outside and hiking at the parks. |

TV Reception |
|
TV Reception is limited. We offer a free video lending library at the office. Feel free to check out as many movies as you would like, or bring your own. |
|
Winter Weather |
|
Winter Weather may be a factor during your stay, as we are open year round. We suggest that you arrange for four-wheel drive transportation in the case of inclement weather. We do have very hilly and winding terrain in the area and at each of our locations. |

Office Hours |
|
Our Office at the Main Location is open Monday-Thursday 9:00am-7:00pm, Friday 12:00pm-7:00pm, Saturday 9:00-5:00, and Sunday 12:00pm-5:00pm. Feel free to stop in for videos, brochures, or suggestions on what to do and where to go anytime during our office hours.
