"THIS PLACE IS SO AWESOME WE STAYED AT THE CABIN 21 HUMMINGBIRD HAVEN (THE DRAGONFLY) IT WAS SO RELAXING TO ACTUALLY COME HERE IT WAS QUIET PEACEFUL AND RELAXING. BELIEVE ME WE, JUST GOT BACK FROM THIS PLACE. IT WAS SO SAD TO LEAVE. I WILL BE TELLING ALL MY FRIENDS ABOUT THIS PLACE SO AWESOME. THE HUMMINGBIRDS ARE SO NEAT TO WATCH RIGHT BY THE BACK WHERE YOU SIT IN THE BACK. WHEN WE ARRIVED IT WAS NIGHT TIME AND SO DARK. SO MANY DEER CAME OUT AS WE WERE DRIVING THERE...SO AWESOME. EASY TO GET THERE THOUGH. THE CABIN WAS BEAUTIFULLY DECORATED. THE HOT TUB WAS SO AWESOME. NOW I WANT ONE OF MY OWN. I MISS IT ALREADY. IT WAS SO MUCH FUN. THE RACCOONS CAME TO SAY HI AT 2:30 THIS MORNING. WHAT A BEAUTIFUL SIGHT. I WILL BE COMING BACK AGAIN SOON. HAD A BLAST, AND IT WAS SO RELAXING. HAD A NICE ROMANTIC GETAWAY. THANK SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING

"We recently stayed at "the Retreat" for 4 days at the end of October. We had a wonderful time relaxing, hiking, shopping and hot tubbing. The cabin was nice and cozy and remote. We appreciate the no hassle and cooperation of the staff at Getaway Cabins. All of the State Parks were all great and the fall colors were fanastic. We didn't know what to expect when we came since we found you on the internet, but it far exceeded our expectations. "

"We recently stayed at the Overlook cabin from 11/7-11/11. What an incredible Get-away this was for us. This cabin rejuvenated our marriage of almost 10 years and really allowed us some time to unwind from hussle and bussle of demanding careers and daily lives. Everything was perfect! If anyone is thinking of a way to escape....this is the way to go!! You will not want or miss anything out there, it is so beautiful! "From the moment that we walked into the cabin, the feelings of relaxation and comfort of a cozy and secluded weekend took over. The Sunflower Chateau (#2) could not have been more welcoming and inviting. We particularly enjoyed our morning wake-up calls from 'Charlie the Cardinal' who would tap on our window every morning to wake us up, almost on cue. We were also impressed by all the small details that amounted to significant comforts...nothing was left out! From the spotlight on the clearing where we saw racoons and other small animals to the fact that everything we might have forgotten (small dish towels, sugar,etc)were provided and in good condition. The pictures don't do this cabin justice...it is one of the most beautiful and romantic "getaways" we could have ever imagined! Thanks!"

were really impressed with the nascar cabin when we got there.
we loved everything about the cabin and I was impressed with how clean it was. It was so peaceful and quiet and we hated to leave. I wanted to kidnap the cabin for ever!!!! "We've just returned from a wonderful weekend in the Hills, staying at the Dragonfly cabin. The cabin brought immediate peace with its charm and roomy design. Comfy furnishings without a hotel feeling and ultimate privacy. Enjoyed the hot tub (once convinced by someone already in that I'd not freeze en route - he was right!), the well equipped kitchen area, and nice bath facilities. It was great to have lots of sprawl space. Our only disappointment was having to depart. It had snowed the last night and was indescribably beautiful. The gift shop is wonderful!"

"I surprised him with a weekend away for his 50th b-day last week, and it was a WONDERFUL weekend!!!! We came not knowing what beauty we would find. We spent the most relaxing weekend we have ever had ..... the quiet, the scenery, the privacy, ...... everything was perfect.
It was a rainy weekend, but it seemed as if the weather knew when we were planning to venture out because it would stop raining long enough for us to site see and get back to the comfort of our cabin for grilling out, hot tubbing, & enjoying each other's company. (we did have visitors, also ..... the hummingbirds :)
The staff were extremely helpful when giving us directions to places, and we really enjoyed seeing Old Man's Cave.
We are still reminising about our trip, and wishing we were still there!!! :) We're planning a trip back, too! "

"We spent a wonderful..relaxing weekend in the Butterfly Bungalow..We felt like we were in the middle of nowhere ..when actually you werent too far from lots of things..We were greeted by the squirrels and had a deer that visited us in the morning outside the cabin..The hot tub was great after our 8 mile hike through Cedar Falls and Old Mans Cave...What amazing places to see !!! If you travel just a bit to Logan you can dine at the Olde Duth Restaurant..Amish food and Delish..The folks who work there are nice as can be !! Thanks for taking our busy life (work, parenting, etc ) down a couple of notches and helping us have a wonderful Husband and Wife weekend away !!! "

"We spent 2 wonderful nights in the Honeybee Hideaway for our honeymoon, and I must say it was a lot more than either of us expected. We had an absolutly wonderful time. We hated for our time to be up and to return home. The cabin was cozy and very romantic, the scenery was breathtaking, and it was 100% private, we only saw 2 people the whole weekend. Thank you for a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. My husband and I, along with our puppy, stayed in Fox Run last weekend. We had a great trip and really enjoyed Hocking Hills. The cabin was perfect and we were very impressed by how nice it was. It was great to be able to grill out at night after a long day of hiking trails and relax in the hot tub. The cabin was clean and the perfect size for the three of us. Your staff was also helpful in giving us directions and suggesting things to see in the area. We are hoping to make a return trip in the fall when it is much cooler and hopefully can do more outside! Thanks again for a lovely weekend of much-needed rest & relaxation. "My husband and I just celebrated our 2nd anniversary at the Honeybee Hidaway. It was wonderful to "get away" for awhile and enjoy peace and quite. Our dog, Trixie enjoyed lazing on the front porch as well. We had beautiful weather, and enjoyed the wonderful warm breeze with the sweet smell of honeysuckle surrounding us. We woke up to the sound of song birds, and the crickets sang us to sleep. We also enjoyed hiking in Hocking Hills. Cedar Falls was my favorite. My husband and I are telling all of our friends about the wonderful stay at getaway cabins! One regret, we did not stay for at least 2 nights. We will next time for sure!!!!!!!!!!!!

"What a fantastic place. Calming, peaceful, and extremely private. Our two dogs loved it here and felt right at home. It was wonderful to fnd cabins that allowed pets. The hot tub was great and the parks are well worth the day hiking. I highly recommend Blue Valley Massage. Our guy was amazing and worth every penny spent. Also, highly recommend the Grouse Nest Traveling Chef. The best meal I've had in my life in the comfort of the cabin. We will definately be back. What a marvelous vacation spot! Many Thanks!"

My husband and I were planning a getaway on July 11th and 12th and you were booked unless we changed cabins so we stayed at another cabin in Hocking Hills. The cabin was not nearly as nice and the hot tub was not as well maintained. Any of our future trips will be at your cabins only. We just thought you would want to know that in our opinion, your cabins are the BEST! We will be back. "
